Father-Son Team Steinberger - World Record Attempts in the Alps
16 years old, started at age 13
Tim Steinberger started his ambitious project at the age of only 13: To become the youngest person ever to climb all 82 four-thousanders in the Alps. Together with his father Tobias, he shows that dreams have no age limits and inspires an entire generation of young mountaineers.
The father-son team Steinberger offers a unique story about courage, perseverance and family unity. Tim's youth combined with Tobias' medical challenge creates an emotional and inspiring story that is perfect for documentaries, interviews and social media content.
Medical Milestone & Father Support
As a Type 1 diabetic, Tobias Steinberger faces a double challenge: Not only mastering the extreme physical demands of the four-thousanders, but also constantly controlling blood sugar at life-threatening altitudes - while safely guiding his son Tim through the mountains.
Tobias is medically supervised and advised by his personal diabetologist during his world record attempt. His experiences as a Type 1 diabetic at extreme altitudes can encourage other affected individuals and show that even with diabetes, big dreams can be realized.
